SATISFACTION OF JUDGMENT


WHEREAS on September 5, 2024, this Court entered a Judgment in favor of Petitioner GPGC Limited and against Respondent The Government of the Republic of Ghana in the amount of $113,530,980.96 as of August 23, 2024, plus post-judgment interest as provided by law (09/05/2024 Minute Order) (the “Judgment”);

WHEREAS on September 23, 2024, the Court granted Petitioner’s motion for attorney’s fees in part and entered an additional judgment in the amount of $124,744 in favor of Petitioner and against Respondent (Dkt. 25) (the “Fee Judgment”);

WHEREAS on October 4, 2024, the parties entered into a settlement agreement that provides for the full resolution of the matters in dispute (the “Settlement Agreement”);

WHEREAS Respondent has fully performed its financial obligations under the Settlement Agreement;

WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of the Settlement Agreement, the Judgment and Fee Judgment have been deemed fully paid and satisfied; and

WHEREAS it is certified that there are no outstanding executions on the Judgment or Fee Judgment with any sheriff or marshal;

THEREFORE, full and complete satisfaction of the Judgment and Fee Judgment is hereby acknowledged, and the Clerk of the Court is hereby authorized to make an entry of the full and complete satisfaction of the Judgment and Fee Judgment on the docket.
