Honorable Scott S. Harris
Clerk
Supreme Court of the United States
1 First Street, NE
Washington, DC 20543

RE: Request for further extension of time to file response in Kingdom of Spain v. Blasket Renewable Investments LLC, et al., No. 24-1130

Dear Mr. Harris:

The Court docketed the petition for a writ of certiorari in the above-captioned case on May 5, 2025. On May 21, 2025, the Court granted Respondents' motion to extend the time to file their response. Responses to the petition are currently due July 9, 2025.

Pursuant to this Court's Rules 15.3 and 30.4, Respondents NextEra Energy Global Holdings B.V., NextEra Energy Spain Holdings B.V., and 9REN Holdings S.À.R.L. respectfully request a further, 30-day extension to August 8, 2025, to file their response. No party (neither Petitioner nor Respondent Blasket Renewable In- vestments LLC) opposes this request.

The extension is necessary given the heavy press of other business. Between Respondents' first extension request and the requested deadline, undersigned coun- sel and his colleagues have needed and must continue to attend to deadlines in sev- eral matters, including cert-stage briefing before this Court, briefing in several cases before federal courts of appeals, and preparing for oral argument in cases before fed- eral courts of appeals. Several of those deadlines have arisen in expedited or other- wise time-sensitive matters since the Court granted Respondents' first request to ex- tend the time to file their brief in opposition.
