Dear Mr. Harris:

I represent Respondents NextEra Energy Global Holdings B.V., NextEra En- ergy Spain Holdings B.V., and 9REN Holdings S.À.R.L., in the above-captioned case. The Court docketed the petition for a writ of certiorari on May 5, 2025. The response is currently due June 4, 2025.

Pursuant to this Court’s Rules 15.3 and 30.4, Respondents NextEra Energy Global Holdings B.V., NextEra Energy Spain Holdings B.V., and 9REN Holdings S.À.R.L. respectfully request a 35-day extension to July 9, 2025, to file their response. The extension is necessary to address anticipated amicus briefs supporting Petitioner and given the press of other business. Undersigned counsel has received a Rule 37.2 notice of an intended amicus brief and expects other amicus briefs as well given filings in the court of appeals. In addition, undersigned counsel and his colleagues have needed and must continue to attend to briefing deadlines in several matters, includ- ing cert-stage briefing before this Court, briefing in several cases before federal courts of appeals, and several oral arguments before federal courts of appeals.
